Meet the Team

Jodi has been helping our patients as a dental assistant since 2003 and takes great pleasure in helping our dentists stay efficient while providing patient-centred care. She loves that she gets to meet and work with so many different people with different needs and expectations. This versatility and the ability to continually advance her interpersonal and technical skills makes coming to the office a joy.

Away from the practice, Jodi enjoys spending time with her husband, their two girls, and friends and family on the Mississippi.

Rachel graduated with honours from the Dental Assisting Program at Algonquin College in 2021. She is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and creating experiences that leave people feeling comfortable, and supported. Rachel enjoys building meaningful connections with her patients and takes pride in being part of a team that helps others feel confident in their smiles.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, and their two kids, Claire and Clayton. She’s happiest when surrounded by family and friends, enjoying the outdoors and making memories at the lake!

Dedicated to keeping our dental tools, machines, and office sterilized, Haley has been with our team for seven months and enjoys playing a role in helping our patients receive the quality dental care they deserve. She chose to join our team because of our focus on work/life balance and she plans to further her dental education by earning a dental terminology and sterilization HARP certification in the future.

During her free time, Haley loves paddleboarding, spending time with family, going to the gym, and playing soccer. She grew up in Vernon, British Columbia, and relocated to this area because she wanted to take on a new life adventure!

With more than 20 years of experience in the dental field, Annette is a graduate of Algonquin College and is highly focused on helping her patients feel like valued family members while in her care. She loves getting to know the person behind the smile and devotes herself to providing the best experience possible during every visit.

Annette has lived in our community since 2012 and is happily married to her husband, Greg. She’s a proud mother to Marshall and Jovie, and when she’s not caring for smiles, she enjoys sewing, paddleboarding, and hanging out with her family.

Kelly has been a part-time dental assistant for Dr. Silva for three years, after transitioning from her previous role as a PSW. Her caring nature and experience make her exceptional at helping patients feel comfortable during their visits.

Kelly loves being outdoors and spending time at the cottage with her son, Cooper, and their dog. Her commitment to helping the community and providing excellent care makes sure that every patient has the best experience possible.

Melanie is a graduate of Career Canada College and has been an important part of the Heritage Dental team for one year. She’s devoted to helping each person in her care understand the importance of good dental health, and prides herself on making patients feel comfortable throughout every treatment. Having grown up in Carleton Place, she loves caring for members of our community and working with a team that’s passionate about providing stellar patient care.

When away from the office, she loves spending time with her children and Angus the Saint Bernard. She enjoys snowshoeing, skiing, and paddleboarding, and makes a priority of staying active in the community by supporting local.

A 2019 graduate of Algonquin College, Ali is a Carleton Place native who has recently joined our team. She already loves our office energy and patient-centric care and is committed to helping patients achieve their oral health goals while encouraging and educating them on how to best optimize their dental health for life.

It’s her dream to visit as many different countries as possible, and during her free time, Ali loves getting outdoors with her husband, family, and friends. She also enjoys cozying up with her dog Stella and a cup of coffee.

Brooke joined our team in 2020, shortly after moving to the area from Charlottetown, PEI. She earned her Dental Hygiene diploma after becoming certified as a dental assistant, so if there is anything about your oral health or dental treatments you’d like to know more about, Brooke would be happy to help!

When she’s not at the dental office, Brooke enjoys visiting family and friends in PEI, walking with her German Sheppard dog Marley, and boating on the lake.

Helping our family of patients achieve optimal oral health by providing them with safe and effective dental care has been Sara’s priority since joining our team in 2013. Sara earned a Dental Assisting diploma from Canadore College in 2003 and her Dental Hygiene diploma from Cambrian College in 2004. She loves working with others and being part of the great team we have at Heritage Dental.

When she’s not helping our patients find their best oral health, Sara enjoys paddle boarding, going for bike rides, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Having graduated from Canadore College with honours, Emily is a recent addition to our team and is focused on delivering friendly and empathetic care that helps patients prioritize and protect their oral health. She loves meeting new people and helping them feel comfortable in her chair is her passion.

Emily is from Carleton Place and during her downtime, she loves being with her boyfriend, Andrew, her dog, Waylon, and going on hikes with her sisters. It’s her dream to one day travel the world!

With our practice since 2018, Brenley places her focus on providing friendly oral hygiene care while helping her patients see the connections between oral health and whole-body health. Creating a relationship with you first, Brenley will work with you to help you achieve your goals and will give you whatever oral health and homecare instruction you need to stay healthy between appointments.

Brenley grew up in Westport and moved to Perth because it’s closer to the city. She spends her time with her partner Kurtis and their newborn Kasher, visiting with friends and family, exercising, and being outside as much as possible.

A recent addition to our team, Rebecca is a graduate of Canadore College. She’s devoted to providing the highest level of care she can while putting her patients’ needs first. She loves getting to know new and familiar faces and she makes it her mission to help patients understand how important it is for them to protect, prioritize, and optimize their oral health.

Rebecca grew up in Carleton Place and she enjoys going on walks with her dog, Waylon, and cozying up to watch a movie in her free time. Fun fact: She and her sister are both members of the Heritage Dental team!

After graduating from Algonquin College, Alex joined our practice in 2021, swiftly becoming a friendly, fun-loving, yet focused member of our dental team. She has a strong sense of community and takes great satisfaction in doing what she can to offer her hometown’s residents warm, compassionate care.

Alex aspires to create enduring relationships and greet each of you with the biggest smile the moment you enter and leave our clinic. She enjoys baking sourdough bread at home and spending time with her two daughters, Sophie and Josie when she’s not at Heritage Dental!

Kailee is a Registered Dental Hygienist, and Heritage Dental’s Invisalign Coordinator. After graduating from Niagara College, she spent 9 years working as an Orthodontic Hygienist before relocating to Ottawa in 2020.

Kailee has quickly become a friendly, caring member of our dental team. She’s committed to helping her patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles with her deep expertise and compassionate care.

When she’s not at the office, you’ll find her soaking up the sun in the great outdoors with her two children!

Part of our team since 2022, Ashley devotes herself to providing stellar customer service that puts patients at ease. She treats patients like she would like to be treated and loves nothing more than seeing them walk out of the office with a confident smile on their faces.

A Carleton Place native, when Ashely has free time, she enjoys being outdoors, hunting, playing soccer, and spending time with Copper, her beagle puppy.

Playing a pivotal role in our practice, Lynn has been part of our team since 2010 and has 28 years of experience in the dental field. She’s focused on helping patients improve their oral health, understand their insurance, and make informed decisions about their oral health. She loves being part of our fun, friendly, and team-focused office!

Lynn enjoys spending her downtime with her husband, Lee, and their twins, Colin and Justin. She loves being with family and friends, listening to live music, and it’s her dream to travel to every baseball stadium in North America to watch the Blue Jays play!

With 32 years in dentistry and 25 years in administration, I’m passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. I’m a mom of three, a devoted grandma, and I love traveling to Jamaica any chance I get. Outside the office, you’ll find me enjoying time with my grandson, floating on the pontoon, and spending time with my partner, Marc!

With more than 14 years of expertise in the dental arena, Julie has a wealth of experience that makes her an asset in every area of our practice. She loves her patients and coworkers and passionately believes that everyone deserves to have access to great dental care.

In her free time, Julie enjoys being with her partner, Steve, and loves walking her dogs and volunteering. Her claim to fame is that she was Carleton Place’s first registered dental hygienist!

A recent addition to our team, Olivia comes to us with a background in biotechnology. She’s excited about having the opportunity to learn new skills and put patients at ease, and she chose to join our team because of our dedication to patient care and service. She also loves that we’re focused on having fun while working hard!

When she’s outside the office, Olivia loves spending time with her partner, Morgan. She also loves to read, cook, be outside, connect with her family at their cottage, and go on adventures with Hank, her two-year-old Dalmatian.
